It can be challenging to cut through the clutter to communicate the value of cooperative membership. Touchstone Energy® has a program that has value written all over it, and it comes conveniently sized to fit in members’ pockets. It’s the Co-op Connections Program® discount card, and it's been helping participating electric cooperative members save money locally and nationally since 2004.
The Co-op Connections Card offers your cooperative members discounts at participating retail businesses. In turn, these businesses benefit from increased customer traffic and promotion in co-op communications and advertising materials. Additionally, your co-op can link to the Connections website which contains a roster of participating local and national businesses offering savings to your cardholders.
As a Touchstone Energy regional partner, Basin Electric can help member cooperatives looking to launch the program. Contact Jeremy Woeste.
American Customer Satisfaction Index scores
Basin Electric has funds available to assist member cooperatives in getting individual American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) scores – information that can help benchmark customer service performance and lend a hand in marketing efforts. For a cooperative to get their individual ACSI score, they must ask members four standard ACSI questions that can be worked in to any written or telephone survey and receive a minimum of 250 responses.
Basin Electric will pay half of the cooperative's cost to survey their members up to $1,050. Contact Jeremy Woeste for more information.
Home energy audits
Touchstone Energy's Energy Efficiency Program offers home energy audit resources for your cooperative's use. Visit Touchstone Energy's member resources site for more information. Contact Chad Reisenauer with questions.
Training
Basin Electric conducts Touchstone Energy training sessions for members including:
- Building a Key Accounts Culture
An interactive 90 minute workshop designed for all cooperative staff. This offering is designed to build an understanding of Key Accounts and support from all departments and employees for the Key Accounts efforts at your cooperative. Using group activities and discussion, this workshop will inspire employees to become more involved in the Key Accounts program. - Service Excellence: Back to Basics
Back To Basics focuses on the “Why” of the cooperative and the “Why” of Service Excellence. Cooperatives were formed to provide a service to communities that no one else would…safe, affordable, reliable electricity. That is our excuse as cooperative employees to make life better for the members that we serve. What is our individual role in providing that service?
Contact Jeremy Woeste for more information or to schedule a training session at your cooperative.
